JAPAN WOMEN, WARNING ABOUT POTENTIAL RAPE & ASSAULT! TOKYO EARTHQUAKE & TSUNAMI AFTERSHOCKS, WOMEN-ONLY SHELTERS.
Thank you, everyone, for checking in on Tokyo Spookyville: my inbox and Twitter are flooded with your thoughts and prayers. I’m actually not in Japan yet (apologies if there was confusion about that). I’ve been in contact with most of my Tokyo friends, and it’s good news — everyone made it through the earthquake, unharmed. There are aftershocks, and nobody’s getting much sleep. But the tremors should subside soon, and the trains will be running again tomorrow.
Sebastiano Serafini was at Avex agency, surrounded by panicked models and idols. He made it home and just Facebooked, “Still shaking but still fine.”
Yukiro Dravarious writes: “I’m alright, it was scary though! The trains has completely stopped. I was without water and gas for several hours, and then it was almost tornado storms outside as a side effect.” Other friends are on their toes, but still in one piece (Adrien from Tokyo Decadance, Takuya Angel, Kenzo-A, DJ Chihiro and Dee Lee, Sophia from Blood Stain Child, the Cure Magazine staff, Jrockers like Miyavi and more).
However, Midnight Mess Maya has a very important rape warning to women stuck on the streets. There have been reports of men approaching single women, pretending to be police officers who will take them to a safe place. Some are knocking on doors and pretending to be from aid organizations. In fact, these men are potential rapists, trying to take advantage of women stranded during the earthquake crisis.
It’s not a myth; a friend of Maya even saved a girl in Nakano. A guy was grabbing her arm and trying to take her somewhere… Another Tokyo friend confirmed the rape warning: men in Shibuya followed her as she was walking, and pulled her arm. She RAN.
Please help keep these women safe by spreading this rape warning via Tweeting, Facebooking, blogging, etc. Women in Japan, please don’t go into toilets or anywhere with strangers alone. Stick together on the streets. There’s a women-only safety shelter in Shibuya: AJWRC, 211 Sakuraoka Cho, 14-10 Shibuya-ku Tokyo, tel: 0337805245
Let’s do our best to keep our friends in Japan safe. Everyone, PLEASE re-tweet and repost this important info, so that more women are not hurt. Here is the short-link: http://goo.gl/jVXi4
I’ll be Tweeting updates as much as I can. Love and hope… Please feel free to leave comments to share your thoughts.

Omg, I’m glad to see that everyone is alright _< those evil bastards
Oh gosh, I saw some videos on Youtube and almost started to cry at my tutor’s.Also, people can be such bastards. A horrible event like this, and some people think about getting to take advantage of women because they’re at their weakest now. *Sigh*
I wish Japan best from the bottom of my heart! <3
rt’ed. hope everyone stays safe.

f*k!
i can’t believe those Japanese men are still hungry regardless of the situation in Japan O_o
is it in their blood or do they have blue balls?
just think of judgement day how people are dying and you have other men who only care about raping before they die. That’s how it sounds now in Japan:/
