CUTE CUPCAKE RECIPE: JAPANESE KAWAII DECORATED DESSERTS, BIRTHDAY PARTY CUPCAKES, FUN FOOD COOKBOOK.
I’m overjoyed that you like the new Death Cookbook episode. The funniest moment, according to you, appears to be the microwave ditty and “Oh Japan!”
Here are some photos from the Tokyo shoot. I’m wearing a Sex Pot Revenge t-shirt and Cotton Bale is in a vintage dress and pearls.

GOTHLOLI OF THE WEEK #83: ALEXANDRA. FILM OF THE WEEK: MILO AND OTIS. LA CARMINA BOOK TOUR, BARNES & NOBLE TABLE DISPLAY NEWS.
† Name: Alexandra
† Age: 18
† Location: Marseille, France
† How were you introduced to Gothic Lolita fashion?
I began to be interested in Japan 5 years ago, and it all first came from the music: I fell in love with Visual Kei. This was so new for me, the sounds, the atmosphere and the appearance! That underground fashion was exactly what I needed to satisfy my thirst of eccentric styles. So, all along, I bought Japanese Punk clothes such as SEX POT ReVeNGe, Gothic Lolita clothes such as Black Peace Now or Algonquins, and I still try hard to buy only Japanese brands, to make my little tribute to them.
† What do you find appealing about GL style and culture?
What I really like about GL style is the possibility to escape classic styles, to be eccentric, even if, contrary to Japan, here in France, I can’t be dressed like the in the streets without being taken as a foolish girl. All the Goth Loli culture is deeply inspired of European old styles so Europeans who don’t know Goth Loli fashion find it ridiculous to wear today.
† What are your favorite GL clothing brands?
For the Goth Loli style, definitely Black Peace Now! And Algonquins too, even if it’s cuter ^.^
† Any other comments (inspiration, tips, favorites)?
Goth Loli fashion is very huge and kind of endless, you are certain to find the style that will fit you! From the Punk Loli to the Sweet Loli, passing through the Classical Loli or the EGA, it’s so beautiful to see!
Film of the Week #33: The Adventures of Milo and Otis (dir. Masanori Hata). A sweet Japanese live-action film about an orange tabby and pug. The cat climbs in a box and drifts down a river; the dog chases after him, leading to harrowing escapades with woodland creatures. Milo and Otis was the very first movie I saw in theaters (in Hong Kong, circa 1986)! I learned later that it was embroiled in animal abuse allegations, but none of the claims were ever verified, so it’s hard to say what really went on…
