HANGRY & ANGRY EVIL VAMPIRE CAT PLUSH TOYS, H.NAOTO ACCESSORIES AND JEWELRY, CUTE GOTH LOLITA PUNK PURSES IN MARUI STORE.
Unlike the Alice Auaa shop, Hangry and Angry by h.NAOTO are easy to spot. Just look for the angry kitties!
Which plush cat would you adopt? I miss my Basil Farrow… (although he’s being spoiled by his grandparents. They got him a giant cat cushion).
I have a weakness for bags with kawaii faces on them. Remember my bunny purse?
If toting around a giant cat face is not your thing, you can pick up one of h.NAOTO’s messenger bags. Or DIY, starting with a plain bag and adding hand-stitched patches and pins!
Song of the Day #150: Hello Stranger – Plain and Simple (The band was originally called Vagenius – genius. Ronan and I dig it.)

GRAMM COLLECTION FROM S-INC, H.NAOTO. ROCOCO GOTH RETRO COUTURE, FADED ASYMMETRICAL LACE PASTEL GARMENTS AT MARUIONE, ロリータ・ファッション.
The MaruiOne summer sale is still on. Today, I got a short Marble jacket with ridiculous poofy sleeves, straight out of Interview with the Vampire. Marked down from $130 to $100 – not bad!
I’m intrigued by Gramm, a new brand from S-inc (the company that produces h.NAOTO) found on the sixth floor. It reminds me of a passage from Graham Greene’s Ministry of Fear… the protagonist visits a church fair, and there are trunks of antique clothing for sale – faded, moth-eaten and lace-laden garments from the 1800s.
Gramm reproduces the “grandma’s attic” look with a nod to Japanese Lolita. I love the metal buttons, the deconstructed and trailing pieces…
This pink and white high-waisted Gramm skirt is currently 50% off at Marui! (I think it retails for around $130.) You can see more of this new brand on the S-inc website.
I’ve been picking up kawaii knick-knacks… ridiculous Swimmer pens with giant cute heads, Doraemon band-aids, nail stick-on art. San-X’s brown bear Rilakkuma is one of my favorite characters… how about you? (You can find Rilakkuma goodies like the ones above on J-List.)
Song of the Day #149: Junior Boys – Parallel Lines (Chosen by Michael. Check out his site, This Is Everything I Own – it’s a tally of all his personal belongings, which include some of mine!)
