BACK TO ITALY! LUISAVIAROMA FIRENZE4EVER: JANUARY 2012. RED VALENTINO POP-UP SHOP, TOP FASHION BLOGGERS EVENT.
Where in the World is La Carmina? Soon, the answer is: Florence, Italy! Seba and I were invited again to Luisaviaroma Firenze4Ever (January 5-7th), the international event for top fashion bloggers.
Last June, we had the time of our lives — I felt like a princess, modeling beautiful fashion. One of our favorite memories was dropping by the RED Valentino pop-up store.
Who says you can’t combine anime-cute with haute couture?
Santa, please send me this Valentino dress. The big skirts, lace and bows are very La Carmina.

We loved browsing the garden, and playing with the props.
Can’t wait to be back at Luisa Via Roma. Shenanigans always take place… my poor Innocent World bunny lost his innocence to Bryanboy!

JAPAN’S BIGGEST COSPLAY FESTIVAL! ROAM TV: NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC ADVENTURE, AUSTRALIAN TRAVEL TV SHOW.
One of my favorite TV hosting jobs was with Sony Australia / National Geographic Adventure. I was the Tokyo subcultures guide for the Two Tims, who are absolute sweethearts. Their travel show, Roam, is good-humored and action-packed — as you can see from my Japan episode.
In these TV clips, I take the Aussies to Japan’s biggest cosplay festival, underground punk dives in Golden Gai, Tokyo Decadance bar, and shopping in Harajuku (check out the Sweet Lolita and Decora girls). I hope you smile at the video above and on YouTube.
