GOTH COOKING SHOW GIVEAWAY WEEK! WIN AROMALEIGH MAKEUP AND GLOOMTH GOTHIC LOLITA CLOTHING.

Goth cooking show, Japanese crazy TV show. La Carmina Gothic Lolita videos, YouTube channel with food and recipe demos.

What better way to cure the Monday blues… than with a new VIDEO feature and grand Gothic prize giveaway? ^__^

One of the most frequent requests I receive is to put up more videos on my YouTube channel. Fabulous news – I got a proper digital camcorder, and I’m launching a Goth Cooking Show… inspired by Death Note! Introducing DEATH COOKBOOK, a dark and absurd twist on the Food Network. In each episode, Kojin (the kawaii meets kowai Japanese kitchen god) guides me through a devilishly delicious recipe. Of course, Basil Farrow co-stars and steals the show.

I’ve posted the first episode – a Black Sesame Ice Cream recipe demo – on my YouTube channel (please subscribe!). The complete recipe and song info are in the More Info section. Hope it makes you laugh!

To celebrate La Carmina’s foray into video, I’m presenting my biggest giveaway yet. I’ve teamed up with two of my favorite Goth indie companies – Aromaleigh makeup and Gloomth handmade apparel – to give away 12 prizes. That’s hundreds of dollars worth of freebies!

† WIN ONE OF 12 PRIZES…
From Gloomth:
– 1 first prize: a $75 gift certificate.

From Aromaleigh:
– 1 first prize: a complete set of the Gothic Lolita Eyeshadows.
– 3 second prizes: each winner receives a Lolita Sweetheart gift set.
– 5 third prizes: each winner picks 3 Gothic Lolita eyeshadows.

LONG BLACK GLOVES, EMPIRE WAIST PURPLE DRESS FROM GOTH CLOTHING DESIGNER GLOOMTH.

Scottish Fold cat, foldy ears big paws cat. Cute yellow or orange fat Garfield cat, furry pet kitty.

For a cat, Basil Farrow sure receives a lot of mail. A few days ago, a package arrived for La Carmina and Basil! My Charlie-Chaplin-pawed Scottish Fold sniffed it for bombs and anthrax.

Goth flyers, Gothic clothing company Gloomth. Handwritten card, letter to Scottish Fold baby cat Basil Farrow.

It was a care package from Gloomth, the indie Goth fashion design company I recently praised. How charming: the package contained clothing wrapped to look like butcher shop meat, a sachet of aromatics, photo cards, a toy bat… and a photo of the Gloomth kitties, who wrote a note to Basil Farrow! My Scottish Fold is always happy to have new friends, feline or otherwise. (You can add him on Facebook as Basil Yuen Farrow.)

Designer Taeden Hall very kindly sent me a cotton Iris dress to try out. The photos speak for themselves – the cut couldn’t be more flattering! I love the high empire waist and the deep rounded neckline with subtle gathering at the center. The front hem swoops up in the front and dips low in the back for a lovely Gothic silhouette.

And long black gloves! Gloomth’s “Bad Business” Pinstripe Long Arm Warmers are made of stretchy fabric with runching and a pointed end. I can’t wait to wear these out tonight.

Gloomth’s Iris dress is finished with extra long ties that can form an elegant bow at the front or back. Could this dress be any cuter?

The dress also goes beautifully with my long, black lace gloves from Spider’s latest collection.

Long black lace gloves, Goth black lace choker. Alternative fashion Gothic Lolita accessories. La Carmina with Scottish Fold cat Basil Farrow. Cat big paws with claws.

Basil and I are officially enchanted by Gloomth’s Cult of Melancholy. And I continue to wear Aromaleigh makeup: ladystardust and rockbottom eyeshadows from the Rocks! Sonic Eyes collection, Dolly blush, Juliette nourishing color creme.

Here’s the good news: starting on Monday, I’ll be offering yet another grand giveaway… with prizes from both Gloomth and Aromaleigh! It’ll be my biggest contest yet, and it comes with a silly surprise from La Carmina. Come back on Monday for your chance to win!
