GOTH PIZZA, CAT EARS, HORSE MASK: NIGHTLIFE PHOTOS FROM QHOTO.

crazy Japanese goth eating pizza, ballet girl Japanese, gothic lolita nightclub, horse head mask. Tokyo club kids, nightlife photos.

I’m getting over a cold, hence the lack of content-rich posts. The pros of being sick: lots of time to watch movies and read. The cons: numerous! For one, I’d rather be living it up with the Goth pizza boy and the weepy ballerina in Kwaidan horse-head boogie wonderland…

gothic lolita party, nightlife fashion photos. Cosplay Japanese cat ears, cute Japan girl with fake eyelashes, finger to lips shh.

I love Qhoto’s nightlife photos; I think they capture the fun and freedom of Tokyo’s Goth/Cyber nightlife. For now, I’m stuck drinking seaweed tofu soup and watching Food Network!

SIN CITY FETISH NEW YEAR’S BALL: VANCOUVER GOTH NIGHTLIFE, BONDAGE DUNGEON.

Sin City Vancouver fetish ball and goth club night. Wild alternative lifestyles, fashion, bright colored hair and PVC clothing.

Halloween and New Year’s are my two most important days of the year, so I made sure to ring in 2009 amidst half-naked revelers and dungeon masters. Promoter Mr. Dark ushered me through the gates of Sin City, Vancouver’s wickedest party for seven years straight. Fetish, bondage, boobage – anything goes, yet the environment is safer and friendlier than your average pop/R&B grindfest.

Cute hot goth girls, 1920s Louise Brooks and Theda Bara flapper costume. Xmas party, Sin City Vancouver fetish ball and goth club night. Wild alternative lifestyles, fashion, bright colored hair and PVC clothing.

The fashion was, to borrow a Japanese word, “moriawase”: a fine assortment of Gothic and alternative looks. The gamut ran from 1920s starlet Louise Brooks…

Glam goth boys, girly men, gas mask. Round red sunglasses, Sin City Vancouver fetish ball and goth club night. Wild alternative lifestyles, fashion, bright colored hair and PVC clothing.

…to the modern androgynous glam of Brian Molko. Quite a few partygoers came prepared for a nuclear fallout.

Sin City paints Vancouver red two Saturdays a month. It’s wild yet inclusive and has a little something for everyone… so strap a stuffed toy to your head and bring on the rubber chaps!
