MY SCOTTISH FOLD CAT IS ON DISCOVERY CHANNEL, SATURDAY 8PM! ANIMAL PLANET CATS 101 TV SHOW & RADIO INTERVIEW.
Set your Tivos. My Scottish Fold cat, Basil Farrow, will be on Discovery Channel / Animal Planet on Saturday night! He will be featured in an episode of Cats 101, a program dedicated to fuzzy felines.
My Scottish Fold is in the episode with this description: “Turkish Van; Snowshoe; Chartreux; Bengal; Domestic housecat; fat cats; Balinese.” It airs Saturday, September 25th at 8pm (I think for both Eastern and Pacific Time, but check your provider to be sure). As you may have guessed, my roly-poly bear will be in the “fat cats” segment. I hope you won’t miss his TV debut!
Here’s something else to mark on your calendars. Asian Boston (who recently featured me in a magazine article) is interviewing me on their radio show. We’ll be chatting about my work for 30 minutes, beginning at 11am PT / 2pm ET on Saturday. We welcome you to call in and ask questions. You can listen to the radio show live here.
Thank you to Style Sample magazine for interviewing me in their latest publication. Flip through the entire Issue 9 here.
Don’t forget to tune in to Cats 101 on Saturday, 8pm, Discovery Channel! You can get a sneak peak of Basil Farrow playing and wahh-ing on our YouTube channel. And I will post new images of him on his Facebook tomorrow, so be sure to friend him.

Oh, goody! I’m still working on my blog featuring you, Basil! I want it to be good.
I’ll be at the X Japan show in LA during the airing ; ; But I’ve told a lot of people about it =D
Have fun at X Japan! I can’t wait to see them.
Ur a superstar and cute as well!
sooooo cutteee
Aww man, I would love to check out Basil on TV – but truth be told…I don’t have cable – so I can’t see Animal Planet or many many many other channels.
Then again I doubt I would be watching many many many other channels since the only channels I watch: PBS Kids, KBS World, and NHK World.
Plus I usually watch most stuff via Internet haha..
As for your radio interview, hopefully I won’t miss it…I SHOULDN’T MISS IT! I am so busy these days however with university and stuff…ugh. I hate to see the day come when I can’t visit my favorite blogs.
Loved reading the issue!
“Put yourself out there without fear. Experiment wildly, approach people, and roll with whatever comes.” – so well put and true. This of course just does not just apply to fashion, but with anybody’s passion in general.
If one hears a call, and the call just doesn’t stop ringing – answer it. Answer it, you’ve got to go out there even if it means failing. And trust me – I hate hearing that word “fail” – but there’s always a chance that you may fail. So yes it is important that you have your full heart in the destiny you want to pursue, but it’s also important that you get prepared for it. Do your absolute best and don’t give a SHIT (sorry for the foul language but it is necessary in this case), I repeat don’t GIVE A SHIT about what others say. If you feel relieved for pursuing what you pursued – that’s all that matters! There will be friends…there will be enemies…and OH YES THERE WILL BE BLOOD!!!!!
haha sorry I got a bit carried away with the Daniel Day Lewis in me *cracks up*.
But speaking of movies…really imho, Woody Allen…lost his touch. Old stuff was awesome. And what happened to Allen – was he bought out by Britain or something? I could have sworn this guy was all “MORE PEOPLE SHOULD FILM IN NEW YORK.” I enjoy his films…but that’s one thing I disagree with…there NEEDS to be less filming in New York…especially NYC – please please please…pick a new location…show the world! There are so many gorgeous places!
Oh and I can’t wait for the Miike review…always love Miike, for he never changes – how he makes films consecutively and so quickly I WILL NEVER GET…of course over the years he’s slown down, but that’s because of age most likely.
Anyway, take care! Enjoy the weekend!
P.S. – Haven’t seen Afterlife yet…I’m sort of in a Potter mode with the new trailer coming out.
I’ll upload a clip so that nobody will miss it! :) I love watching travel shows on the web, myself.
Very excited for the Miike film. I’ve seen most of his work. Off to prepare for the radio show – it’s on in 30 miN!
