2009 MOI DIX MOIS & KOZI CONCERT, DEEP SANCTUARY TOUR, EBISU LIQUIDROOM. MANA SAMA PERFORMS LIVE IN TOKYO JAPAN.
I had no ticket for the Moi dix Mois and Kozi Deep Sanctuary concert (July 19, 2009 at Ebisu Liquidroom) – but decided to meet my friends and see what fate had in store for me. Perhaps one of them would drop dead and I could go in his place? (You may recall how I nabbed a Gackt seat at the very last moment.)
The J-Goths met at Ebisu Station at 3:30pm and walked to a nearby stall for pre-concert taiyaki (fish-shaped waffle with red bean or custard inside). In the summer, you can buy taiyaki in a cup of ice cream or with frozen fillings. Hardcore pose, right?
I’m wearing my Innocent World kittycat dress and a new Alice and Pirates bonnet from Laforet. I bought it because a) rich purple is among my favorite colors; b) I can fold up the bonnet and carry it in my purse.
Comte de Sang’s blue contacts and blue-streaked half-wig paid tribute to Mana’s signature colors. (If you don’t know what I’m talking about, check out this post.)
Yukiro Dravarious found this two-piece disco bodysuit in a Machida vintage store. A perfect fit, silver with slits… it must have been a gift from outer space! And how groovy is his pink neon scar?
Nana joined us in time for a run to the convenience store Lawson. On this sweltering day, we wisely stocked up on beverages (alcoholic ones, obviously). A quick bull ride and it was off to the concert venue…

V-ROCK 2009 VISUAL KEI FESTIVAL IN CHIBA, TOKYO JAPAN. MOI DIX MOI, GAZETTE, D'ESPAIRS RAY, MARILYN MANSON, VERSAILLES.

“For two days on four stages Makuhari Messe will be transformed into sacred ground.” This year, the performers include such Visual Rock gods as Versailles, D’espairs Ray, The GazettE, Moi dix Mois, PENICILLIN, D’espairs Ray, heidi., Vidoll, SuG, ALI PROJECT, TSUCHIYA ANNA… and Marilyn Manson? Whatever works!
