† How were you introduced to Gothic Lolita fashion?
The first place I really discovered the Gothic Lolita culture was from their magazines, and from that moment on I was obsessed. I’ve always been really interested in Japan and Japanese culture, and I know I’m going to go there one day – but I didn’t realize how much I related to it all until I found the Gothic Lolita Bible.
† What do you find appealing about GL style and culture?
I really love the expression in it all, it’s like wearing words as odd as that may sound. A lot of clothing in the world doesn’t have a lot of passion in it, it’s over produced (and a lot of the time ugly), but with Lolita fashion it’s always unique and poetic.
† What are your favorite GL clothing brands?
I can’t really afford any big brands now, eBay’s as close as I can get right now, and I actually found some things at Halloween Stores and Hot Topic. But when I can safely purchase, Atelier Boz has some gorgeous oufits.
