GOTHLOLI OF THE WEEK #51: AGNES.
† Name/URL: Agnes.
† Age: 18
† Location: Sweden, Umeå
† How were you introduced to Gothic Lolita fashion?
When I was 13 I stumbled over the book “FRUiTS” and what I mostly loved were the girls in gothic lolita clothes. Since then, my dreams have been filled with lace, cupcakes, pearls and brightly shining stars. I was/am so obsessed I even went to Japan to go shopping when I was 14!
† What do you find appealing about GL style and culture?
I love the fact that you dress up to please yourself and not anyone else. To not care about what people think or say, to not dress for men to think you are attractive, that is feminism to me. Haha, I could never imagine wearing a frilly dress could be called feminism!
† What are your favorite GL clothing brands?
Baby, the Stars Shine Bright and Angelic Pretty.
† Any other comments?
Do not be afraid of mixing Baby with vintage and Dior, live to please yourself and not anyone else. Besides, my blog is in English and full of inspiration!
If you would like to be the next Gothloli of the Week, please read the submission instructions here. For all your Lolita shopping needs, check out the links to clothing brands on the right column of my blog.

DANGEROUS NUDE, KIKIRARA SHOTEN: WILD INDIE HARAJUKU LOLITA FRUITS FASHION.
What’s this, what’s this? The Mad Hatter’s lair? Or something racier? The sign reads Dangerous Nude and has a logo of a mermiad…
The brand (associated with Kikirara Shoten in an unclear way) is sold in Kera Shop and had a fashion show at Alamode Night last September.
How to describe these creations? Kawaii gone bad?
All of these photos are courtesy of Qhoto photographer NAO, who also has photos from the Alamode fashion presentation in his gallery.
