SEX POT REVENGE JAPANESE PUNK CLOTHING LINE: HIGH PVC BOOTS, STUDDED BELTS.
“A working class hero is something to be…” But maybe not on Takeshita Doori… Where it’s more about spending money… On clothes that are called Punk Loli…
Ha, I crack myself up. You’ll recall my post about the F-word-laden Sex Pot Revenge store in Harajuku. Not far down the road, there is a G-rated version of the shop.
The clothing is cheaper and less Lolita-based. Think punk T-shirts, dog collars, studded belts, and cyber dreads.
I love how the sign is written in spooky writing. Wooo, the 70s-style leather punk jacket is going to zip you up in your sleep!
This is one of the best stops in Harajuku for fetish gear and PVC platform boots. If that’s your thing…
“Watch” out and look up – or you’ll miss the silver tentacles barely held back by fishnet on the ceiling!

VIVIENNE WESTWOOD & SEXY DYNAMITE LONDON: PUNK LOLITA SHOPPING, ORB LOGO.
God Save the Queen! We mean it, man! Sexy Dynamite London decided that Vivienne Westwood’s designs needed to be preserved for punk posterity. The Japanese and London brands squat together in Harajuku, in a store that combines SDL’s latest and Westwood’s greatest.
I wasn’t able to take sneaky photos inside the museum-shop, but you can see pictures in this previous post about Sexy Dynamite Queen. Both locations of Closet Child also carry secondhand Vivienne Westwood clothing, including furry skirts from the 70s and the original rocking horse shoes that Lolitas love.
Vivienne Westwood’s label logo is one of my personal favorites. The orb reflects that of the British Crown Jewels, while the planetary ring gives it a bit of a punk twist. The designer has always used a lot of tweeds and tartans, hence the nod to Harris Tweed’s signature logo
