GOTHIC LOLITA LIVING DOLL PHOTO SERIES.

Living Doll Gothic Lolita photography series.
I see so much Goth Loli photography that I’ve developed major ennui. (I’m sure many of you can relate.) But every so often, I’ll come across a self-portrait – almost always unconventional and provocative – that makes me do a double-take. Alli Jiang’s photography consistently has this effect. She kindly gave me permission to share her Living Doll photo series, for which she modelled and did the digital enhancing.

Alli Jiang AR SilverFox models Lolita brand clothing by Spider.
It’s a striking concept – a living Gothic Lolita doll. Alli drew on the ball-joints with eyeliner and eye shadow.

Alli wears a blouse and hair flower from Hong Kong store Spider. I posted about the Gothic Lolita brand here; I have a similar hair accessory from the same shop!

The photos in this series were taken in Xinghai Guobao, Dalian, China. In the first photo, the fantastical castle is in fact real.

You can see more stunning shots on Alli’s MySpace and Flickr (A.R. Silverfox)
