Oh, the Internet. Got back from having my hair dyed and sent a Tweet about it. Received @lacarmina requests to see the new hair. Took digital photos, uploaded, blogged and Twittered it. Can you believe this is normal, expected behavior in this day and age?
My stylist kept the long length but razored away layers, especially at the front. He added choppy, bright red pieces to my existing blonde streaks for a Visual Kei/J-rockish look.
T-shirt: Rocawear (got it for free at a tradeshow)

White rabbit necklace charm: Putumayo, from Laforet Harajuku.

Looooove your hair. I don't know anything about hair styles so I can't truly tell you how to style your hair. But I love the last picture with you and Basil. Both of you are sharing a moment and I want that ring your wearing. It matches your hair perfectly.
Thanks!! I love that photo… what a great moment. The ring is a cheap thing from a department store or something (5 or 10 dollars). It once got stuck on my finger and cut off my circulation… my whole finger turned purple!

LOL! I also have the same blonde bits in my hair aswell fom previously adding red streaks to my hair. I had to stop cuz I ended up re-dying it at the salon every month, so it was really damaging my hair! Its been 6 months without dying my hair! If feels so werid!
But im paitently waiting for all of my previouse hair dye colours to grow out, before I start dying it again.

I think if you're going to style that hair (which is a wicked change btw!<3) I think you should put a teensy but of texturizing paste ( like a pea sized amount at most) then randomly back-comb it, but very lightly just so it looks messy. Then add a bit of hair spray (drugstore quality so it gets a little crunchy) and scrunch it. I do this all the time to my hair and it makes it look really chic for some reason as long as you don't backcomb the roots too much (or at all!)

How hard is it to up keep Your red high lights
These red highlights stayed in a long time because my stylist bleached, let it sit under the dryer, and then used a long-lasting red dye (not a novelty one).
