GOTHLOLI OF THE WEEK #55: KATARZYNA.
† Name/URL: Katarzyna “Dextella” Podstawek.
† Age: 17
† Location: Poland, Zgierz City.
† How were you introduced to Gothic Lolita fashion?
It was maybe 2004 and I was at an anime convention; it was quite boring, but I saw her: a Gothic Lolita. She had an amazing white/black dress and high-heeled boots… I was impressed and I wanted to be Gothic Lolita.
† What do you find appealing about GL style and culture?
It makes me feel wearing exactly how I want to look. Sometimes childlike, sometimes like a princess, or a Victorian lady. I can’t imagine now how can I dress in something other than Lolita fashion, or neo-Victorian fashion. It is not something important; it is part of my life.
† What are your favorite GL clothing brands?
I made most of my things with my grandma, or I buy in F+F or Bodyline and I really don’t care is that ita or not, because their clothes are pretty nice and cheap. I don’t have any fav brand, because I like prints or models from every brand (of course not all), but I think the best is Victorian Maiden and BTSSB, but they’re too expensive for me.
† Any other comments?
My dream is make skirt printed in Simo Hayha and snowflakes. I am really impressed by his person and all Finnish soldiers who were fighting in Winter War.
