GOTHLOLI OF THE WEEK #63: SHIN PROJECT.
† Name/URL: SHIN Project
† Age: 20
† Location: San Diego, CA.
† How were you introduced to Gothic Lolita fashion?
Japanese visual kei fashion and music.
† What do you find appealing about GL style and culture?
Bringing back classical style with a hint of modern, and it just brings in a aura of class and elegance without completely losing your own self or style. Its clean, comfortable, different and none of the garments are ever constructed half heartedly nor are the fabrics ever choosen half heartedly.
† What are your favorite GL clothing brands?
Currently, I dont have my own personal favorite. I like alot of different styles and designers, I admire a lot of differnet works from Baby the Stars Shine Bright to Alice and the Pirates to even Takuya Angel and Sex Pot. Style is something that simply cannot be defined and should be kept diversed and different. And with that being said, working on own line of clothing inspired by a lot of different styles and desginers, mixing in classical and modern style from European feels to old Japanese tiles and textures. 8D hope to look forward to it.
† Any other comments?
Dont be afraid to be diverse, have fun with your style, setting goals are always good but never stop just because you’ve reached one goal. Keep aiming higher and higher.
All my photos in the SHIN Project folder was taken by Cross of JustUnderRoyalty (shes got more photos in there too 8D)
Film of the Week #11: Black Sheep (starring a guy who looks like Ronan, dir. Jonathan King) It’s a campy horror movie about zombie sheep – need I say more?

GOTHLOLI OF THE WEEK #62: DUPLICA.
† Name/URL: Duplica
† Age: 22
† Location: Austria.
† How were you introduced to Gothic Lolita fashion?
When I was 17 I was really into manga and I liked to read Chobits. I loved Chi’s outfits and wanted one! I started looking for sites on the internet and found lolita sites like blue period and avant gauche. Since this time I fell in love with it and started wearing it with the age of 18. Today I wear it regulary, at least 1-2 times a week.
† What do you find appealing about GL style and culture?
It makes my world more beautiful. I can add a little bit of “lolita” in my whole life. I love beautiful things and I want to feel beautiful everyday, because this is what makes me happy and feel good.
† What are your favorite GL clothing brands?
Metamorphose and Juliette et Justine.
† Any other comments?
FLolita should make you happy after all and I try to share my happiness with others too. I hate too much bitchiness and try to stay honest but friendly to everybody.
Film of the Week #10: Edward Scissorhands (Johnny Depp, Winona Ryder, dir. Tim Burton)
