LUISAVIAROMA: MODELING LUXURY DESIGNER COUTURE IN FLORENCE, ITALY. BURBERRY COAT, DIOR EVENING DRESS.
As winter descends, my thoughts hearken back to warmer days… memories of Florence, Italy. Seba and I were two of a handful of bloggers flown to Luisaviaroma Firenze4Ever, to model haute couture and take part in events. Here are photos from the second day, by Kristina Gi.
For the Styling Lab, Luisa let us choose any designer clothes we pleased, and model them in the streets of Florence. We were well-equipped with food, hair stylists and makeup artists. I did my own face Japanese-style, with gems and false eyelashes.
Funny story: the Italian makeup artists gathered around to examine my cosmetics and learn my techniques!
The clothing store had an “animalier” theme at the time. We decided to dress accordingly.
Don’t tell my Scottish Fold cat I was petting a deer, and a Great Pyrenees…
Sebastiano Serafini wears a Givenchy t-shirt, and Ma Ry Ya jacket. His trousers and shoes are by Rick Owens.
La Carmina wears a leopard-print dress by 2(4)1 (dig the black circle side-pockets). The shoes are Rene Caovilla, and the bracelet is Delfina Delettrez.
Posing with classic Florentine architecture. Life is a wonder.
On the famous bridge, Ponte Vecchio. My coat is by Burberry Prorsum. (As you can see, we choose outfits that stayed true to our Goth-alt-street style.)
Shirt: Tom Rebl. Jacket and trousers: Dior Himme. Shoes: Bruno Bordese. Hat: Rick Owens.
The fit and materials of my Dior evening dress were outstanding. I know you’re eyeing my flamboyant feathered shoes; they’re by Diego Dolcini.
Thank you to Luisaviaroma for the incredible experience; we hope we can come back soon! If you missed it, check out my coverage of the opening cocktail party, Alexander McQueen outfit, and Jeremy Scott tiger jacket. Luisa also features my photos on their site.
Which of our outfits did you enjoy the most? Would you like to see us at the next Luisa event? If so, please give the buttons below a Like — let’s make it happen!

Seba and you look awesome!!!! Hugs for both of you!! <3
Thank you, big hugs for you too!!
Love your hair and makeup. Also, your Dior dress and feathered shoes are fantastic. Seba’s pics with the floppy hat remind me of French bohemian artists – he’d looked good with a brush and canvas. Very romantic!!!
Yes! Or a young page boy… cute, either way ;)

the shoes are great! <3
Feathers are always a good thing :)
shoots! after seeing these pics, I can’t decide if I want Seba to dress up as a lady or as Link more. Half of me (mostly the eccentric part) wants to see him as a girl,(lucky him he does have the features for it after all, though he probably won’t see it as a compliment dunno…who knows how men’s brains work? I certainly don’t, sorry rambling now) the otaku part of me (that I shove under the bed most of the time, well thats another story altogether) wants to see him cosplay as Link after seeing him model that outfit, the one in the last pic and in two others…well it’s battling fiercely with itself, still prefer him as cat… dammit, if only I was fabulously wealthy, like sheik wealthy, I could add him to my art gallery of beautiful men, now I’ll shut up before I start ranting about the unfairness of life
hahaha I love this comment… I say lady!
oh sorry, I don’t mean to forget you Carmina, you are and will always be beautiful, I just have a strange fixation with male beauty.
How lovely ♥
Leopard Print always makes me think of Bettie Page.
Your styling is perfect.
Did you get to keep the clothes :D?
LOL at the bear carrying your handbag :P
wahhh I wish we could keep the clothes haha! it was only for the day..
Nice!
Well, it’s confirmed. It’s scientifically impossible for you not to look amazing.
LOVE the feathered shoes! I would have to hide them from my cats though! ;P
