FASHION BLOGGERS DINNER AT LA SPECOLA, FLORENCE NATURAL HISTORY MUSEUM. TOP STYLE BLOGS, FIRENZE ARCHITECTURE.
A four-course meal to remember! LuisaViaRoma held a VIP fashion blogger’s dinner at La Specola, the Museum of Zoology and Natural History in Florence.
I’m wearing a silver crucifix body chain, gifted from CB Designs. Chelsea designed the necklace ingeniously, using lightweight materials (so I never felt weighed down). The silver chain can be worn short or long, to mix it up. CB Designs has a full range of jewelry on Etsy.
My spring floral dress is gifted from Gloomth; love their neo-Rococo fashions. The sunhat is from a Hong Kong stall.
It was wonderful to meet bloggers from around the world, including Emilie from My Little Fashion Diary (Luxembourg). We crossed the Piazza del Duomo and shared a cab with Yvan Rodic, The Face Hunter (France).
In front of Luisa’s shop with Sofie from Fashionata (Belgium). At the Specola museum, we sipped fresh strawberry champagne cocktails with Wyman Wong — Hong Kong fashion editor, Cantopop lyricist and cool cat.
The dining hall was lined with glass cases, displaying the skeletons of humans and animals. (It reminded me of the time I did a photoshoot in a taxidermy exhibit.)
A monstrous skeleton hung over the long dinner table, scattered with roses.
Sandra’s Closet took this cute photo of Sebastiano and me.
Between each course, there was live opera singing. The bloggers are laughing at the iPad, which magnified the view of the singers!
Italian food can’t be beat. The warm, Tuscan tomato bisque inside a bread bowl (pappa al pomodoro) was out of this world.
Meringue with dark chocolate sauce for dessert. Yes, please.
After the meal, Seba and I walked around the streets of Florence. Everywhere you turn, there’s romantic architecture: columns, cobblestones, piazzas.
When you visit a new city, how do you like to explore it? I personally love trying the local food, and walking around the streets — you?

How I explore a new city is by just walking through the city, looking for amazing views and try to find a local supermarket, buy a salad or something else easy. Then I will eat that at a nice place in a park or something like that.
A year ago I visited Geneva with my school. We were able to use the public transport for free! I had to abuse that right offcourse. I just go somewhere. That’s the adventure I love <3.
