ALEXANDER MCQUEEN DRESS, SKULL SHOES, RICK OWENS MENS LEATHER PANTS & TSHIRT. LUISA VIA ROMA BLOGGER STYLE LAB.
Of all my travel adventures, Luisaviaroma’s Firenze4Ever (fashion blogger mega-meetup) ranks near the ceiling. Sebastiano Serafini and I got to style designer clothing, and model it against the magnificent backdrop of Florence’s Duomo. Here are photos from the first Styling Lab…
But first, may I ask for a 1-second favor? Google released the new +1 button; would you kindly click below to recommend my blog? Thank you so much!
Our hotel was right in front of the Duomo (Gothic style Basilica).
Luisa Via Roma kindly provided catered lunches for the bloggers. I’m still salivating over the Italian rice.
(Seba’s wearing a t-shirt from our HOPE clothing line. Look closely: his underwear is Intimissimi.)
Luisa turned the display window into a polar bear paradise. (Do you like my crucifix nail art?)
The Aveda hair and makeup team got to work.
We got to select any luxury clothes we wanted, and wear them in a pro photoshoot! I chose an Alexander McQueen dress and skull shoes.
Seba looks a little horny? He’s wearing Rick Owens.
Our assistant took us to a terrace overlooking the Piazza del Duomo. Breathtaking.
We continued to shoot inside the apartment.
Doesn’t Seba look like Andy of Black Veil Brides here? (Did you hear: he recently broke three ribs during a concert accident?)
Such gorgeous clothing. The male model ain’t bad, either!
Regular interaction, in our world.
Luisaviaroma put up a page about Sebastiano, calling him “Imaginative, fashion-forward, and full of energy.” You can also see my feature here.
We’d love to hear your thoughts about our styling and photos! Photos of our other looks coming right up.
Song of the Day: Ryan Paris – I Wanna Love You Once Again (Can’t wait to show you the Milan Italo Disco club we visited.)

Love love love your black jacket!!! Oh, the photo of Seba with antlers LOLOLOLOLOL (*O*)
Horny! :)
Those outfits are BREATHTAKING! That dress, those jackets, your shoes, Seba’s pants… I LOVE it!
Most “high designer fashion” isn’t really my style, but I would pay good money for those outfits! If I ever have the extra cash to indulge in designer/name-brand clothes, I usually dash right to h.NAOTO or Sexpot Revenge, haha.
PS – I hope Andy has a safe recovery D= So scary to hear something like that!
Aww thank you! And yes, I’m like you — I prefer the alt brands, but it was fun to play dressup.

You’re so cool :)
You’re so cool :)
Most designer clothes aren’t really my thing, but every now and again things appear with either a lot of black velvet and lace, or doing a biker/military punk inspired thing, and that’s when I spot things by mainstream designers that make me squeak. Designer shoes are a different matter – black peep-toe booties <3 If I was wealthy enough to afford designer clothes, I'd still be goth through and through. It is hard to find off-the rack high-street or goth clothes with the same quality of materials. I see too much cheap, rough, horrible lace!
Very true!
