TOKYO LOLITA SHOPPING GUIDE: MAP OF GOTHIC LOLI STORES IN HARAJUKU, JAPAN.

Angelic Pretty sweet lolita shop window in Tokyo, Japan. Kera store, Harajuku, pretty pink dresses.

Off to Tokyo in a few hours! I’ll be making the rounds at kitschy theme restaurants; I’m shooting photos and writing about my adventures for my upcoming book with Mark Batty Publisher. Naturally, I’ll spend my down-time pressing my nose into Harajuku store windows, like the ones above…

Kokusyoku Sumire’s gosurori-themed café is on my list of places to shoot. I’ll have to hold onto my yen when I visit Atelier Boz and Alice Auaa.

Can you suggest other Gothic Lolita stores that I must visit? What are your favorite Tokyo shops? Let me know in the comments, and I’ll be sure to check them out.

*** Update *** My comprehensive Goth Lolita Punk Tokyo shopping guide is found here.

i'm rubbish, i cant remember any of the names of the awesome shops i went too – i remember laforet was uber expensive tho but had some gorgeous stuff!
im shibuya, the massive shibuya 109 department store also has loads of different shops in it, with some wicked lolita style stuff. the basement was where it was at.
you also have to get some of those mad stick on nails they have. falsies covered in plastic, hello kitty, glitter, flowers etc – awesome – why oh why did i not get some! need to go back just to shop more!!

When I go, I'll have to visit Tokyo Alice and Fairy Angel : they are second hand shops like Closet Child, even a bit cheaper. Tokyo Alice especially; they have some really nice Vivienne Westwood and JPG stuff (bags!!). I have no idea where they are located though, I have to check that out! Then, the shops I'm really looking forward to visiting are Moi-même-moitié and Juliette&Justine, probably out of my price range but still gorgeous! Oh, and definitely Boz and Alice Auaa too ^^.

    You're killing me!
Maruione was like a symphony in my head when I realized there were floors upon floors of Loli stuff!!
The only thing I would add is that there is a shop a few doors down from Bodyline that is upstairs and is another second hand loli shop, just like Closet Child! Oh! And the Vivienne Westwood museum at Sexy Dynamite Queen!!
    Have fun!!! xoxo

      Hi,
Just saw your comment – I’m very sorry for posting the map. I’ll remove it now. I didn’t hear from you and the map is in the public domain (it’s a publicly-viewable Google Map) so I went ahead – but I sincerely apologize and will take it down.
