La Carmina en Espanol: new Spanish Tumblr! Circus Saturdays at Webster Hall NYC: alt nightlife party.
** UPDATE ** Watch La Carmina on THE DOCTORS TV show! Here are the clip and photos, about Japan bagelheads.
World domination continues, muahaha. La Carmina Blog is now available in Spanish!
My lovely friend Psique is translating parts of my site and creating special content, so that I can share my spooky world with Spanish readers. We invite you to add my Spanish Tumblr and look forward to your feedback. (PS: above is a peek at my new hair… the LA television shoot went very well, more info to come!)
¡Rayos y truenos!
Let’s to back to NYC for a minute. After shooting with Discovery TV’s “Oddities,” I partied hard at Circus, held Saturdays at Webster Hall NYC.
Jenny Knifefight wears h.NAOTO. La Carmina wears hair barrettes gifted by Kreepsville 666, Yosuke shoes from Marui One Shinjuku, and a dress from a long time ago in New York.
When I’m in NY, I always look forward to reuniting with DJ Jess Marquis — his 80s dance remixes are legendary. We went to the Circus Saturday event, where he’s a resident DJ.
Jess also spearheads the incredible Trash party at Webster Hall’s studio. (Remenber when Yukiro and I attended the anniversary bash?)
Things get naughty backstage… Cris works the pole.
What goes on behind the scenes? We see, speak, and hear no evil…
Circus lives up to its name. We ran into a glittery stilt-walker.
Fire dancers took the stage…
… followed by two aerial artists, soaring and twirling.
Girls in bikinis wielding smoke guns. Why not.
Raquel Reed dances up high on the ledge.
Around 3am, we ended up at Walgreens. No idea who the guy in the middle is. All in a night’s work!
Have you ever been to a circus-themed party? Check out my nightcrawling posts for more alternative club coverage.
What do you think of the new Spanish La Carmina Tumblr?
