Introducing our favorite new streetwear brand… Bros Products, from Hong Kong! Here’s the fun story of how we got to know the designers; they’re now some of our favorite people.
Sebastiano Serafini discovered the colorful urban clothes years ago, when he was modeling in Hong Kong. He wore the Shark backpack on his TV drama, Nihonjin no shiranai nihongo, and Japanese viewers fell in love with it.
While we were in Hong Kong, we noticed that Bros Products was everywhere (lots of young people wearing the cute character garments). We got in touch with the label… and guess what. Designer Beerbean invited us to pick out clothes — as many as we wanted — from their factory inventory!
The fun, bright kiddy streetwear fits our personalities perfectly. It was difficult to narrow down our choices.
Mr. Shark, however, is probably Seba’s favorite character.

Sanrio’s not the only company with adorable characters. The Bros family includes Baby Lion, Rinne, Benson the naked boy, Panda, Duck and Monkey, combined in oh-so-many ways. (Frankenstein Lion and Devil Rinne, to name a few.)
The brand’s a small, family-run operation, but produces an impressive number of designs. Including sneakers, belts and watches.
Bros Products has nine stores in Hong Kong. Each is decorated as brightly as the t-shirt prints. (You can see photos of their Causeway Bay shop here.)
The team is the nicest, and we’re working together on something cool… We’ll let you know what’s up as soon as we can!

I don’t believe they do, at the moment… but hopefully soon!!!
I think the designs are awesome because they are loud and fun without becoming cheesy and tacky.
It has a certain creativity to it that reminds me of the ‘old’ Hongkong? Before things got more globalized and now the streets are lined with mass produced and cheaper goods.

Do you perhaps have a list of other Bros products stores in HK besides the one in Causewaybay?
They are everywhere… there is one in Mongkok, one in a mall quite far away (forgot exactly where)… Maybe call one of the stores to ask? Good luck!
