SUSHI IN LITTLE TOKYO, LOS ANGELES: VIVIENNE TAM ELEPHANT GANESHA TOP, YELLOW JOHN FLUEVOG BOOTS, VISUAL KEI FASHION.
Greetings, Adventure Team! As soon as Lemon and Ementhy met up with me in LA, it was lights camera ACTION: I painted their nails, they ripped my stockings; the room became a tornado of pillow fights, black eyeliner, and endless hair teasing. Finally, we rolled out for dinner — horrifically late.
Yellow boots: a new purchase from one of my favorite shoe brands, John Fluevog. I am currently loving yellow shoes.
Black strapless dress: Westmend, a Chinese Lolita brand
Sheer rainbow top: Vivienne Tam. It has prints of Ganesh, the Hindu elephant god, all over it! I bought it almost 10 years ago in Hong Kong.
Witch hat and pumpkin hair clips: from Tokyu Hands Shinjuku. Got them around Halloween.
Ring with roses and crucifix: Refuse to be Usual
Fake eyelashes: sent by Cuberry
I figured out a striking new way to apply nail polish. First, I applied an opaque base coat (Absinthe by OPI x Sephora). Then, I painted silver sparkle polish over, concentrating the largest sparkles at the top of the nail. Ta-da: glittery disco tips.
I know, I know — this blog needs more male fashion, Jrock hair and cute Visual Kei boys. I’m on it.
Los Angeles’ Little Tokyo is one of my favorite spots for Japanese food. Oomasa’s spicy tuna rolls and unagi (eel) did not disappoint.
What do you think of these looks? Do you have any favorite Japanese/male fashion trends? I like shiny dapper shoes, vests and white pants, I do…
Song of the Day #252: Onmyouza – Kokui no tennyo (We’ve been blasting this Visual Kei band while cruising the freeways! What a glorious vibrato the female singer has.)

There's always something about a guy in Aristocrat or elegant clothing that gets me every time. Mmm~ The styles from Victorian Era, Romantic Vampires, definitely the “Gentleman” look <33 Yumm~

Oh my god oh my god. John Fluevog is my fucking FAVORITE shoe designer EVAR.

It's too bad my hair was hating me throughout that trip. Still, the pics turned out well!

The camera of beauty! Once you’ve got a DSLR, you can’t go back…
By the way, I realized I like a lot of songs about lemons… Lemon Song (Zeppelin), U2’s Lemon (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s1Y0HyLWSWw), even that old track that goes “lemon tree very pretty and the lemon flower is sweet… “
U2’s Lemon is my favorite ;) OH and don’t forget LemonED I Scream! Also glad to see we’re being well-received! I was just looking over the photos and spotted the one of my shoes and realized how freeking huge my feet are…it kind of shocks me whenever I realize it. o_o;;
Oh yeah!! Another great Lemon Song. ;D
I don’t think your feet seem large because you’re tall — they’re in proportion. Symmetry is the key!

They are SO comfortable — I’ve owned 3 so far. And he’s a Vancouver designer!

Yup yup! ;D
awesome! it's great to share that there are other fashion choices for guys, too, than your typical, casual band tour shirt. haha :]
Exactly!! We ended up sharing a lot of the same clothes, hahah, as you'll see in upcoming photos. :)

Those yellow boots look awesome on you! :) I like the picture with you and the shorter haired guy posing with the tree in the background, heh. But you're all cute. Looks like you had a lot of fun. I went to LA only once (last year) and now reading about how much fun you had makes me regret not having the time to visit different LA landmarks and neighborhoods like Little Tokyo :
I'm going to be doing a ton of posts about the awesome LA venues we visited… Jungle/Cure visual kei and anime store, Kinokuniya Books, Hyaena Gallery, 2nd St Jazz, MRX and more! I hope you'll find it helpful for your next trip!
Yokkatane:)
VisKei boys are so cute ^__^. Hahaha, I think the best are the cross-dressing ones a la: Mana-Sama, Kaya, and Hizaki XD. Hehehe, I do definitely a fetish for Aristocrat though XD.

Huh, maybe I need some white pants
Ironically Onmyouza has been the only CD in my car for about 4 months(all my other CDs are back at college because I always forget to bring them home), so I've been listening to them while I cruise as well.
I think you'll like what I have in store for Dances of Vice. It is a whole new outfit.
Maybe you do! They'd go great with your new Goth boots.
Excellent, I can't wait to see.
