NOH8 JAPAN CAMPAIGN, FAMILIAR FACES CELEBRITY PHOTOS. GOTH VALENTINE’S DAY, HAPPY BIRTHDAY SEBASTIANO SERAFINI!
Kyou wa February 14th in Japan… meaning today is Sebastiano Serafini’s birthday!
You probably don’t need to reminded that it’s also Bloody Black Heart Venereal Disease Day. (There’s no such thing as Valentine’s Day in Spookyville. Too goopy, don’t you agree?)
To celebrate Seba’s b-day and V-day, I’m going to be Tweeting fun photos and messages. Please follow my Twitter (@lacarmina) and Seba’s (@sebaofficial) to see the mischief I have planned!
I’m still sorting through mega-folders of photos from our Los Angeles Invasion. We were quite the sight in our gyaru leopard print outfits, gifted from Like Atmosphere. The designer necklaces are presents from RJ 1959. (Sebastiano models for both Japanese brands.)
We took part in a TV shoot at Blue Monday, the 80s party at Boardner’s. The same venue where our Bar Sinister Goth club hosting fiasco went down! (If you missed it, here are the photos and story.)
We also did some TV shoots at M Cafe de Chaya. I interviewed the owner and head chef, Tachibe-san, and he filled us up with flavorful macrobiotic food.

Corset dress: Atelier Pierrot, from Laforet Harajuku
Black bead bracelet: gifted from RJ 1959
Black ankle boots: Alice and the Pirates, from Closet Child
Look out, children. There’s an Eurasian animal prowling Hollywood’s Walk of Fame.
I always take new LA visitors to Amoeba Records. Best place to find used CDs and vinyls, such as KISS records.
My favorite part of the music store, by far, is the Death Metal aisle. Oh, the band names.
Our Hollywood Invasion was an explosive mix of work and play… many LA photos and stories still to come!
And we’ll have more info about taking NOH8 to Japan (have you seen our photos?). Thanks for your incredible enthusiasm; we want you to be involved. Stay tuned, and let’s work together!
Are you doing anything for Valentine’s Day? Come see what I’m up to on my Twitter …
And… it would be awesome if you could send Sebastiano a birthday message! Please leave a comment in this post, or Tweet @sebaofficial.

VIDEO CLIPS OF TOQUE DE TOKYO, JAPANESE TV DOCUMENTARY WITH ANTOINE DE CAUNES. FRENCH CANAL PLUS PROGRAM.
Tis an exciting time… in addition to bringing the NOH8 non-profit to Tokyo, I have new writing and TV jobs are in the works. (Will let you know everything soon.)
I know you’ve been itching to see the Toqué de Tokyo French TV documentary I co-hosted in Japan, with Antoine de Caunes. Finally, I’ve put up clips on my YouTube.
I was Antoine’s guide to Tokyo theme restaurants and crazy subcultures in the 90-minute TV special. I took him to an ear cleaning parlor, theme cafes (babies, cats, maids), and two wild Goth cyber fetish clubs (Tokyo Decadance and Department H). Watch me ride in a rickshaw and laugh manically with my partner in crime, Yukiro Dravarious! (The video is above and here.)
We gave Antoine a taste of our psychedelic clubbing world. (Yukiro went as Jem and the Holograms.)
It’s fun to have my friends involved in the TV shoots. G-suS and Count de Sang gave him a bite of Tokyo Decadance’s nightlife.
On my list of places to visit: the Drop Dead Festival for Gothic Punk and Weird Wave music/culture. The last one was in Lithuania, of all places.
Unzipped pants and nipple tape… what more do you need in a boy?
Here are links to all the BEHIND-THE-SCENES PHOTOS from the Tokyo TV shoot:

Ueno Park – where we filmed the rickshaw intro and ending
Ikebukuro cat cafe – where I gave Antoine a cute bento box and we played with kitties
Don Quijote – gallomping with my friends around the Shinjuku discount store
Omotesando baby cafe – for the world’s most spoiled brats
Cosmopolitan Magazine – feature about the documentary
Odaiba dinner boat cruise – with Antoine de Caunes and the TV crew
Thanks to everyone who saw the Japan documentary and sent me sweet messages! You can always comment in the posts or email me if you want to collaborate.
What do you think of my Toque de Tokyo TV clips? Were you mesmerized or petrified by any of the places we visited?
