Kittypod Iti designer cat cardboard furniture, Natural Scratch cedar wood scratching pole. Scottish Fold clawing.
Wahh! Here are some Halloween photos from my Scottish Fold cat.
Basil is getting a little too large for his usual box…
Just in time, Kittypod sent him a designer cardboard scratching bed.
Kittypod has a big selection of pet furniture in creative shapes, made from recycled paper.
Basil models a Kittypod Iti. Finally, it’s large enough to contain his girth.
The Iti is reversable (flip it over if your cat scratches through the 2-inch thick “scratchdeck”). It’s easy to assemble, and the form supports a kitty’s body at various angles.
Favorite new spot to scratch and sleep.
Who has fat cheeks?
The bed came with a cat-face clip; I folded the ears and drew on a face, so Basil would feel it represented him. Thanks Kittypod!
Also in the mail… a Natural Scratch post.
The white cedar post is all-natural, a healthy option.
Cat scratch heaven.
The stretchy rope on top, and “reward holes” for treats and toys, encourage cats to get clawing.
I’m all for supporting indie companies, and finding natural products for your pet. For a great scratching board, we recommend the cork, cedar and plank options from Natural Scratch.

Did you have a happy Halloween, or dress up your kittens? Whose cheeks are fatter: Basil’s or the pumpkin’s?
