Although I’m a gentle, baby-faced housecat, I live on the edge.

Literally. Look — I’m so close to falling down the stairs!

A lot of people say I look like a stuffed toy bear.

They can’t believe that I’m a real-life cat.

Maybe I was made in Santa’s workshop!

When I sit in front of the keyboard, that means you can’t work on your computer any more.

You have to stop everything and scratch my chin.

How can you say no to this round face?

Hey, a mouse-mouse!

As long as you give me enough attention, I’m satisfied. On to the next distraction!

I love to sit by computers.

When I was a kitten, I would sit on top of daddy’s monitor while he played computer games like Deus Ex.

Today, I still love being near the purring sounds of computers…

…and I’ve still got sideways feet…

… and no ears and no nose!

However, I’ll admit I’ve gained a few pounds over the years…

Do your cats like to sit by your computer?

Today, I turn over the blog to my Scottish Fold cat, Basil Farrow. “Wahhh! It’s my birthday today! Is this package for me?”

“It’s beautifully wrapped and the sender is… Agent Lover? Let’s give it a good Scottish Fold sniff.”

“It’s hard to guess what’s inside when one has no ears and no nose…”

“Wahhh it’s a little Gothic cake for the birthday boy! Let’s give it a taste…”

“Not very sweet. And why… won’t… the… strawberry… come OFF? Oops, I lifted up the whole cake!”

My grandpa built me a house.

For once, my box is large enough for my big body!

While I was suntanning, my mommy snuck up behind me and squished me.

What should I do?

Oh well… I guess I’ll go back to sleep!

Mm.. mm… I don’t mind being squished.

Is that a plush, furry cushion on the carpet? Or is it Basil Farrow?

I am round from every possible angle.

From my earless head to the pink, sensitive pads on my feet… round and cute all over!

Not to mention furry. Don’t I look like I’m ready for the tundra?

Ding! Time to switch sitting positions.

Very slowly and carefully, I tuck one paw under and extend the other.

The reason I sit like a gentleman…

… is because my feet are too short to fold underneath me!

I am a ball of soft fur.

Don’t you want to reach out and give me a snuggle?
