Wahhh! Yellow/orange Scottish Fold cats like me… are big in Japan!

At this Shinjuku cat cafe, the Scottish Fold kittens are the favorites. They’re on the posters to lure in customers.

In Tokyo cat cafes, you pay about $9 for an hour to read manga, stroke over a dozen kitties, take pictures, and eat cake!

The Japanese are experts at cuteness… so it’s no surprise that the most popular kitties look like me. ;)

My fur is so thick that if you press hard…

… you can leave behind a hand-shaped impression!

Doesn’t it look like a ghost is petting me?

Human hands are ugly compared to our kitty paws.

Look at my big sideways feet: the pads are pink for maximum cuteness!

I don’t say “Meoww” like a normal cat. I say “Wahhh” and “Maooo!”

I open my big mouth and…. “WAHHH!”

Wahhh! A 10 year old girl named Ada drew the beautiful photo of a kitty who looks like me! Her mommy writes:

Maoo maooo! A breeder in New Hampshire sent Ada the following photo – and it was love at first sight! Poco Smitten says, “When I reach the age of 10 weeks old, I will be Ada’s Scottish Fold!” Congrats and happy birthday!

Dogs aren’t the only animals who can do tricks. Look, I can roll over!

Dap dap dap… I’m so thirsty.

Dap dap dap dap… my throat is still dry.

Ahh, that’s better. But now I need to use the litter box!

I’m not a Scottish Fold cat. I’m a person.

I sit like a human, with my paws on the armrest.

And then I duck down my head to lick my tummy…

Hey! I’m not ready to pose for photos!

Hanging out on the sofa, paws dangling!

This is my favorite spot and favorite sitting position. There’s only one downside…

It’s too easy to fall asleep!
